Hello I’m Ally

Ally is a Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist.

A Clinical Pilates Instructor, a specialist in Pre and Post natal Pilates and trained in Fitness Pilates.

An advanced manual therapist, and is trained in dry needling techniques.

Ally has spent the last decade working in New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland working in private practice. Her love and involvement in competitive sport has fueled her interest and intrigue in the function of the human body and in the aspects of recovery from sports related injuries.

Ally graduated from Northumbria University with a BSC Honors Degree in Physiotherapy. She has gained extensive experience working across the world. Ally had additional qualifications in dry needling, Clinical Pilates, Pre and Post natal Pilates, Strength and conditioning and Clinical Sports Massage.

Ally’s love of Pilates grew while working in Melbourne and in Belfast. Ally is dedicated to supporting individuals, in maintaining and rebuilding strength. She loves helping women during the antenatal and postnatal periods. Whether it's guiding soon-to-be mothers through safe exercise during pregnancy or assisting new mums in regaining their strength postpartum, Ally's passion lies in empowering women to be strong and resilient during these transformative stages of life. Having extensive experience teaching Pilates and a deep understanding of how to tailor workouts to meet the needs of her clients allows her to effectively guide individuals through safe and personalized Pilates practices, whether they are beginners, athletes, recovering from injury, or navigating the challenges of aging.

Ally's keen interest lies in the realm of strength and conditioning. As the lead physiotherapist for both rugby and American football teams, she honed her skills working alongside Gareth Robinson, the Head Physiotherapist for the Ulster rugby team. During her time in New Zealand, Ally had the privilege of providing massage therapy to the All Blacks and contributing her expertise at the PGA golf tournament.

At Move With Us Physio & Pilates, we offer a clinical approach that combines evidence-based physiotherapy and Pilates with a keen interest in strength and conditioning. Our approach is driven by a love of the outdoors, hiking, and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle that we actively promote to others. We are passionate about helping individuals of all ages maintain fitness, stay active, and achieve optimal physical health. Trust us to support you on your journey to a stronger, more active lifestyle.
